Bank of Morals

This project started life exploring the themes of proverbs and old sayings. It later evolved to concentrate on proverbs about money for example ‘money is the root of all evil.’

Above is the moral wealth vessel designed for the money or Jade plant as it more commonly known. The state and growth of the plant inevitably becomes a reflection of your morals. The vessel has three water containers around it feeding the plant different types of water depending on how you spend your money (if you spend too much on luxuries and yourself water containing poison will flow into the vessel, but spend on hope and charity then mineral rich water will flow into the vessel.) It is a design for the fictional ‘Bank of morals’ looking at Proverbial banking solutions in an age of financial chaos.
